آں وزیرک از حَسَد بودش نژاد

callous vizier was made of envy
تا بباطل گوش و بینی باد داد
Thus he got his ears and nose dismembered
بر امید آنکہ از نیشِ حَسَد

expectation that through the sting of his envy
زہر اُو در جانِ مسکیناں رسد
His poison might reach to the Christians
