is fire of love which caught up the flute
جوشش عشق ست کاندر مے
فتاد
It’s fervent of love which is seen in the wine
It’s fervent of love which is seen in the wine
‘Ne’ is referred to the lover because of its crying and desire,
whereas ‘Me’ is referred as beloved as it has the attribute to make lovers out
of their senses. Thus in this couplet, the majesty of love is described as this
is such a thing which possess the attributes of both lovers and as well as of
the beloved, though both of them are quite different.
