Couplet 14-18

دو   دہاں  داریم  گویا  ہمچو  نے

As if we are keeping two mouths like the flute

یک دہاں پنہاں ست درلبہائے وے
One mouth is hidden in his lips

یک  دہاں  نالاں شدہ  سوئے  شما

One mouth is towards you, weeping

ہائے  و  ہوئے  در  فگندہ    در سما

Creating clamour in the skies

لیکن  دانم  ہرکہ  او  را  منظرست

But one has bestowed with eyes, knows it

کایں فغاں ایں سرے ہم زاں سرست

That crying and weeping from this side is actually from that side

دمدمہ  ایں  نائے از   دمہائے    اوست

The sound of the flute is due to his puffs

ہائے  و  ہوئے روح  از  ہیہائے  اوست
The clamour of rooh is because of his warnings

محرم  ایں  ہوش جز    بیہوش  نیست

The trusty of this love is in being unconscious

مرزباں را مشتری چوں گوش  نیست
The purchaser of products of tongue is no better than ears

               Although the story of rooh is evident from its status but still this story of love  is to be revealed to those who has real intellect and knowledge and these are those who have received the maarifah of Allah. This can be comprehended by none other than those people who are inattentive other than Allah, as there is condition of intimate relation between knower and known. See how ears are comprehending the speeches coming out of mouth as if these are the buyer of these speeches as the ears have a relation , whereas other sensory organs do not have such relation with sound/ voice and hence are deprived of its comprehension.
