آتش ست ایںبانگ
نائے و نیست باد
This
sound of flute is fire and not air
ہر کہ ایں آتش
ندارد نیست باد
Whosoever doesn’t have this fire, he is no better than nothing
Whosoever doesn’t have this fire, he is no better than nothing
Here is the description of effects of crying of flute
i.e. seeker of Allah as it is that fire which can make others
burnt, as it has been seen that induction
effect of the lover of Allah
creates instigation and tumult in others and unlike no effects of air.
Now Maulana describes the ishq as the highest wealth that whosoever does not
possess this, he is better be destroyed. How is that life in which there is no
desire (of maarifah) and it is better to be dead than this kind of life. Or on
other terms, he is giving blessings that whosoever does not possess it may
possess it as well and may get the ecstasy and trance.
