آئینہ ات دانی چرا غماّز نیست

زانکہ ز نگار از رخش ممتاز نیست
Because its face is not free from rust
Reason
for not explaining the details of ishq above was that the listener do not have the ability to understand and now
Maulana details the reason for this so that the interest for burnishing one’s heart
may be initiated. The reason is that the mirror i.e. heart of yours is full of
rust of love for other than Allah and needs to be cleansed and because of this
rust, the ability for comprehension of this subject is missing.
