سرمن از نالہ من دور نیست
My
secrets are not away from my lamentations
لیک چشم و گوش را آں نور نیست
But it is not comprehensible by these eyes and ears
But it is not comprehensible by these eyes and ears
The
reality of my pain could be known/ understood from my crying but it is a
different kind of taste and until one has developed such taste, he could not be
able to feel the same. The apparent external senses and the worldly knowledge
merely could not be able to comprehend this pain of mine and these senses are
not possessing the necessary abilities to comprehend this. The reference from
Noor is this power or ability of comprehension, which is the right kind of
taste to understand this pain. The feeling of hunger can be comprehended by a
hungry person, otherwise, even possessor of the knowledge of the whole world
could be deficient in its understanding of hunger.
