Despite
achieving wusool, the true lover is never ever be contended and he will always
be desirous for next higher stages. And seeing the higher stages, he considers
his status as nothing and also considers his past life as wasted. He regrets that a number of days of his life
is ruined in sorrow and nothing has been actually achieved. The meaning of this
couplet is similar to the following previous couplet (Book1/ Couplet 12):
ہم چو نے دمساز و مشتاقے
کہ دید
