Couplet 19

گر    نبودے  نالہ نے   را  ثمر

Has there been no effects of lamentations of the flute,

نے جہاں را پر نہ کر دے از شکر
The flute would have filled this world with sweetness

         The benefits of crying of rooh has been mentioned in this couplet. Since the crying of rooh creates the desire  and then  desire for knowledge of Allah (ماعرفہ), which is the fruit of this whole exercise. It thus proves that the crying of rooh is not futile and of without fruit, rather it produces the fruits of (ماعرفہ). Now creating the proof on this, it establishes that had it not produced the (ماعرفہ), then where does the thousands of Gnostics (aarfeen) come from. They all are from the speech of this crying only, the شکر here means (ماعرفہ).
