چوں رسید از راہ آں مردِ غریب
When that
traveler reached his destination
اندر آوُر دش بہ پیشِ شہ طبیب
The doctor brought him to the king
پیشِ شاہنشاہ بُردش خوش بناز
He brought
goldsmith to the king with style
تا بسوز دبر سر شمعِ طَراز
So that he could light him like the candle of Taraz (a city in China)
شاہ دید اُو را وَ بس تعطیم کرد
The
king saw him and regarded him a lot
مخزنِ زر را بدو تسلیم کرد
And a treasure of gold be handed over to him
پس بفرمودش کہ بر ساز دز زر
He was
ordered then to prepare from gold
از سِوار و طوق و خلخال و کمر
Bangles, necklace, anklet and waistband
ہم ز اُنواعِ اوانی پعد د
And innumerable
different kind of utensils
کانچناں در بزمِ شاہنشہ سزد
Which would be worth for the court of the king
زرگرفت آں مرد و شد مشغولِ کار
He immediately
took the gold and started working
بے خبر از حالتِ ایں کارِ زار
Unaware of the fact what is waiting for him
When
the goldsmith reached after completing the journey, the doctor brought him to
the king with all the grace and style so that he could be finished off for the
girl. The king welcomed him and gave him a lot gold for preparation of bangles,
necklace, anklet, waistband and a lot of utensils, that is worth to grace the
court of the king. He began into work after taking the gold not knowing the
fact that what would be happening to him.
