ہمچو اسماعیل پشیش سَربنہ
Do
bow your head to Him like Haz Ismaeel AS
شاد و خنداں پیشِ تیغش جاں بدہ
And do get sacrificed happily through His sword
تا بماند جانت خنداں تاابَد
So that your soul will remain in peace
ہمچو جانِ پاک احمد با اَحد
Like the soul of the Prophet SAW in the proximity of Allah
عاشقاں جامِ فرح آنگہ کَشد
The
lovers take the drinks of happiness,
کہ بدستِ خویش خوباں شاں کُشند
When beloved kills them by their own hands
When you come to know that the friends of Allah (اولیاء
اللّاہ) are the deputies of Allah Ta’ala, then
your duty is to put yourself in the duty of these friends of Allah and give
your life happily in front of their sword of austerity (ریاضت) proposed. Meaning of giving life is to reject the comfort and
wishes of lower soul (نفس) i.e. to follow happily
and gladly the austerity (ریاضت) and struggle (مجاہدہ) suggested by
the master (sheikh) for the cure of external as well as internal (باطن) and take action on these. Therefore be happy with the proximity
of Allah (قربِ الاہی) till eternity like the
Prophet SAW, who acted on the orders of Allah Ta’ala happily and is thus happy
and preserved with the proximity of Allah (قربِ
الاہی). The lovers become happy only when the
beloved kills then by their own hands i.e. the seekers become happy only when
perfect sheikhs, who are their beloved, put them under hard and austere
struggles, so that the worldly wishes and wants of self (نفس) be removed.
