The
owner came back from home
بر دُکاں نبشست فارغ شاد و خوش
And sat down in the shop happily
دید پُر روگن دُکان
و جامہ چرب
But
seeing the oil spilled and clothes drenched in oil
بر سرش زد، گشت طوطی کل ز ضرب
He enraged and hit parrot on the head and it became bald
When
the owner came back happily from his home and sat down in the shop but seeing
the shop full of oil and the clothes were moistened with the oil, he became
enraged and hit the parrot so hard that it became bald i.e. its hair on the
head were removed.
