خواجہ روزے سوئے خانہ رفتہ بود
The
owner went to his home one day
دردُکاں طوطی نگہبانی نمود
Parrot was guarding the shop
گربُئہ برِ جست
ناگہ در دُکاں
Suddenly,
a cat jumped into the shop
بہرِ موشے، طوطیک از بیمِ جاں
Following a rat, the parrot feared for life
جَست از صدرِ دُکاں بہرِ گریخت
And
jumped at the centre of the shop
شیشہ ہائے روغنِ گُل را بریخت
And fell down the bottles of oil
One day the owner was at home and the parrot was
guarding the shop. Suddenly a cat came their pursuing a rat and in order to
save itself, the parrot moved to one side. There were the bottles of oil and
they fell down as parrot’s legs hit these bottles.
