Couplet 335-341

کارِ پاکاں را قیاس از خود مگیر

Don’t guess the works of pious people on your own

گرچہ باشد در نوشتن شَیر شیر

As شیر(lion-animal) and شیر(milk) looks same in writing

شیر آں باشد کہ مرد اُو را خورد

Milk is the one which human drinks

شیر آں باشد کہ مردم را درد

And the lion is one who eats human

جُملہ عالم زیں سبب گمراہ شد

The whole world got distracted due to these differences

کم کسے ز ابدالِ حق آگاہ شد

Only few were able to understand the conditions of Friends of Allah

اَشقیاء را دیدہ بینا نہ  بود

The wretched people don’t have the eye to see

نیک و بد در دیدہ شاں یکساں نمود

They used to see good and bad as one

ہمسری با نبیاء  بر داشتند

They claimed the equality with prophets

اولیاء را، ہمچو خود پندا شتند

And considered the Friends of Allah as like them

گفتہ اینک مابشر ایشاں بشر

They said that they are human so we too

ما و ایشاں بستہء خوابیم و خَور

They and we both are doing sleeping and eating

ایں نہ دانستند ایشاں از عمیٰ

They could not discern due to their blindness

ہست فَرقے درمیاں بے مُنتہیٰ

That there are vast difference between the two

                 Don’t compare your actions with that of the saints (بزرگ), even though both of them are looking similar apparently like the way شیر (milk) and شیر (lion) are looking same in writing but are different. [شیر is used for drinking, while شیر is the one which tears you away]. Often, people are distracted due to not understanding this subtle difference, as they could not be knowing enough about the conditions and status of the Friends of Allah (اولیاء). The wretched people do not have the eyes to see the difference between the good & bad and they consider both as same. Therefore they are claiming to be equal to the prophets and consider the Friends of Allah (اولیاء) as one of them by saying that the prophets are human being  and so we are and they are also bound by eating and drinking (human functions) and so we are. As in Quran (14:10): 

.. They said: "You are no more than human beings like us!..

                  They could not be able to see the vast difference between the two.
