گرچہ دیوار
افگند سَایہ دَراز
Though
a wall creates a long shadow of it
باز گردد سوُئے او آں سَایہ باز
But the shadow will return to it
ایں جہاں کوہ ست
و فعلِ ما نِدا
This world
is like a mountain and our voice is like our deeds here
سوئے ما آید ندا
ہارا صَدا
The echo of our voices come back to us
This
is the words of Maulana Rum and the punishment to be meted out to the deeds has
been mentioned here and elaborated with two examples. The first example is like
the shadow of a wall, though become very long, but ultimately comes back to the
wall only. The second is that this world is like a mountain and our acts are
like the voice. So when you call, the voice will come back to you in the form
of echo, similarly, you will get the award on your deeds.
