چشم ہمطوں جوئے اُو
There were
blood flowing from him river like eyes
دشمنِ جانِ وے
آمد روئے اُو
And his beauty becomes the reason for his death
دشمنِ طاوُس آمد

The enemy
of peacock is his feathers
اے بساشہ را

And a lot of kings vanished because of their extravaganza
Now
the discussion is that the beauty of the goldsmith was the reason for his
death, as his once beautiful eyes now flowing with the tears of blood (because
of sadness of death) and the beautiful face of his became the cause of his
death. As if he was not that beautiful, why was the plan made for the killing.
Now he states two examples for this, one is the feathers of the peacock are its
enemy, as it is getting killed for the purpose of obtaining these feathers.
Secondly, a number of kings, who were showy and displaying pomp and show, are
declined due to this fact only, as the other are planning for their
destruction.
