Then
I tell them that I am a Christian secretly
By Allah, who knows my secrets
As
the king became aware of my faith,
Hence he is after my life
Though
I tried to hide my religion from the king
And tried to so his religion as mine
The
king came to know my secrets
And I became a liar in front of the king
The
king said to me that your talk is like needle in the pancake
And there is a ole between your heart and mine
I
have seen your condition through that hole
Why do I listen to your talk, when I have seen your condition
The
planning of vizier to deceive the Christians and his tricks
Discussion
of tricks is there in these couplets. After what would happen with me, I would
tell the Christians that internally I was too a Christian and will swear by
Allah, as He knows the best. Somehow the king came to know about my religion
and intended to take my life due to jealousy. I tried to show the king that I
am in his religion only and hide my identity i.e. remains Jews in the eyes of
the king. But the king knew the internal conditions of my thoughts and falsehood
of my commitment to the Jews has been exposed to him and he told that your talks are pinching me
like a needle in the chapatti. So that the person who is eating may not see it
and he comes to know as soon as he takes the first bite. Similarly I am smelling
falsehood from your declaration and there is a hole between my heart to your
and through this, I am seeing the real position of your heart i.e. by having
relation of so many years, there is an understanding between the two of us and
can know the hidden thought of yours. And now once I am seeing your actual
position, then why do I believe your talk. All this is the contents of vizier
to be told to the Christians, as explained to the king.
