A
hypocrite offers prayer like a believer
For competition and not due to fear for Allah
In
the prayer, fasting, charity and pilgrimage,
Hypocrite is toe to toe with believer
In
the end, it will be win for believers
A hypocrite will lose in the Hereafter
Although
both of them are fighting a bet
They are same like the residents of Maro (Khurashan) & Re (Iraq)
Everybody
goes to its own destination
Everybody works according to his name
In
these couplets, another comparison is mentioned that the hypocrites are making
with the believers by offering prayers, fasting, charity (ذکوٰۃ)
and pilgrimage (حج). Sometimes the believers got upperhand
and sometimes the hypocrites. But after all, on the Day of Resurrection, the
win will be with the believers only and the loss of disbelievers are certain,
though they are doing the similar kind of works at present (i.e. prayer,
fasting and charity etc.). After the World of Difference, the Muslims will go
to heaven and the hypocrites will go to hail. They will get the same treatment
as the epithet given to them.
