Couplet 147

گرچہ تفسیر زباں رو شنگرست

Though, the explanation would further clarified

لیکِ عشقِ بے زباں رو شنترست

But, the unexplained ishq is better clarified

               This is the emphasis of the above couplet as usually vocal explanation better details the features of things/ issues, as amongst the variety of proofs, the proof  by reason and words are more accomplished and at high pedestal for understating the benefits. In this similarity, the status of ishq should also be more explained by the words. But in fact, an unexplained ishq is more detailed and expressive, as it is an act of feeling. Thus when one gets it and feels the ecstasy on heart, then there is no need of listening it from anyone. Thus, one witnesses its effects oneself and its truth is revealed automatically.

                Allama Iqbal puts it as:

نہیں منّت کشِ تابِ شُنیدن داستاں میری

خموشی گفتگو ہے بےزبانی ہے زباں میری

My story is not indebted to the patience of being heard.

My silence is my talk, my speechlessness is my speech
