Couplet 98

نورِ حق ظاہر بود اندر ولی

Allah’s noor (light) is reflected from His friends (ولی)

نیک بیں باشی اگر اہلِ دِلی

If you are a people of heart, you would be able to see

         

           As detailed above that the attributes of piousness is being seen from the countenance of the unknown person and now it is stated that the distinction in this person is the same as that emanates from a Friend of Allah i.e. light of Allah emanates from them, but that light can be comprehended by only those who are People of Truth (on righteous path). These lights are that with companionship of these people, love for Allah grows, interest for hereafter increases and distance from the world and other than Allah develops as mentioned in the hadith

Resplendence, charm and softness is there on the face of these people

                  Allah Ta’ala also says in Quran (48:29)

….You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer]…..
