سوئے قصّہ گفتنش میداد گوش
He was
concentrating on her story,
سوئے نبض و جنبشش می داشت ہوش
Keeping an eye on movement of pulse
تاکہ نبض از نامِ کہ گردد جِہاں
So as
to understand where her pulse moves more
اُو بُود مقصودِ جانش در جَہاں
The same will be her beloved
The
doctor was listening to the talks of the girl but his attention was there in
the pulse and its movement, as he was looking for the name she spoke, for which
maximum movement noticed in the pulse. That fellow will be her beloved, and she
was ill in separation with him.
