صبر تلخ آمد و لیکن عاقبت
Keeping
patient is not tasty, but at the end,
میوۃ شیریں دہد
پُر مَنفعت
It gives sweet and beneficial fruits
The patient is not
tasty i.e. tough but at last, it gives the fruits which are sweet as well as
tasty and profitable.
Sa’di wrote –
صبر
تلخ است و لیکن بر شیریں دار
i.e.
Sabr (patient) is tough to endure, but the end of sabr is very
sweet.
