Couplet 107

بے ادب تنہا نہ خود را داشت بد
Disrespectful one has not only damaged himself

بلکہ آتش  در ہمہ آفاق زَد

But he puts in fire all of his vicinity

The meaning of this couplet is that an impropriator will not only damage himself but also he will burn the whole world i.e. damage others as well. There are two types of such damages to others, one specific i.e. the damage will be to those who are witness of the crime but choose to be silent, inspite of the fact that they are having powers to control such crime or stop the fellow to do that, particularly when he has good and healthy relationship with the perpetrator. In such a case, all these people would be the part of crime and not only the perpetrator but they will be part of punishment for their role. As Quran says that everybody bears their own burden (6:164) :

And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.

And they will bear the burden for not controlling the crime despite having the powers to do so, which in itself is a great crime. The second type is a general damage, in which those people are also become part of the damage who are not at all involved in the crime. Such are like famine which covers everybody – good and bad. These trials & tribulations are troubles & catastrophe for the sinful people and as blessings & bounty for the holy men as their ranks are upgraded. This context is dealt in everywhere in Quran and hadith eg. Quran (8:25) says:

And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment.
