می شنافت
When the
pen was busy writing about the ishq
چوں بعشق آمد قلم برخود شگافت
It gets broken when it reaches to writing ishq
قلم
بر خود شگافت puts an allusion that the pen is fed up of
writing,
as
if the pen become tired, then it will not be able to write. The pen was in full
flow of writing when it was narrating the different contents and when it
reaches to the content of ishq, it ceases to write. It is because of the fact
that the ishq is an act of feeling and can be felt internally. Therefore, the
pen is stopped writing its reality.
