شہ چوں عجزِ آں طبیباں را بدید
When
the king saw the struggles of doctors
پا برہنہ جانبِ مسجد دوید
He ran towards the mosque bare foot
رفت در مسجد سوئے محراب شد
He
went towards the pulpit in the mosque
مسجد گاہ از اشکِ شاہ پُر آب شد
The place of prostration became wet due to his tears
چوں بخویش آمد ز غرقابِ فنا
When
he came to senses from deep contemplation
خوش زباں بکشاد در مدح و ثنا
He started praising & exalting (Allah) profusely
کاے کمینہ بخششت ملکِ جہاں
O’
You, the gift of kingship in this world is minuscule
من چگویم چوں تو می
دانی نہاں
Who am I? You know the hidden things
Doctors gave up and the king became
aware of the fact and inclined to the Real King (Allah Ta’ala)
After
seeing doctors to struggle to treat the girl, the king runs towards the mosque and
sat at the pulpit. فنا means becoming compete senseless i.e. he
became unconscious while weeping so much, When he came to senses, he started
praising and exalting Allah Ta’ala. Praising God, he said that whatever kingdom
he possesses is a very minuscule gift from You and I am nothing and You know
all the hidden things.
