ضعیفِ غیبی را چو اِستقبال کرد
When
the pious guest was welcomed
چوں شکر گوئی کہپیوست
اُو بَورَد
As if sugar is ingrained into the rose leaves
When
the king welcomes the unknown guest, a certain kind of connection was developed
between the two like that of gulkand (a sweet made of rose petals and sugar),
in which sugar and rose leaves are merged with each other and one cannot decipher
the distinction between two. This connection will always develop when there is
some commonalities between the two entities and hence an indication is here
that the king is Spiritually elevated, as was mentioned at the start of the
story.
