Couplet 83

لیک گفتی گرچہ می دانم    سرت

But You said that though I know your secrets

زود ہم پیدا کنش بر ظاہرت

Even then express yourself according to external condition

              It is related to a previous stanza (Book 1, Couplet 80):

من چگویم چوں تو می  دانی نہاں

            It means though You are being “Knower of unknown”, there is no need for me to express my desires or requests. But You ordered us to ask for supplication (dua) as in Quran (40:60) -

And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." 

             And therefore, I am also expressing my requests though my tongue as well.
