The
dream that the kind had seen
در رُخِ مہماں ہمیں آمد پدید
Was reflected from the face of the guest
Now
Maulana takes a detour towards the story
and states that king has seen the guest with same kind of distinctions
as was mentioned in the dream. This does not have the meaning that the guest is
the same person who was seen in the dreams as he said in the dream ‘gar
ghareebe etc’ i.e. tomorrow you will see
an unknown person who is from our side. Thus this person must be a different
one and whatever attributes about this person that the king heard from the saint
in the dream are perfectly fitting with this person.
