Couplet 70-76

ہر چہ کردند از علاج و از دوا

Whatever way, they are making effort for cure

گشت رنج افزون و حاجت ناروا

The illness increased and the goal was unachieved

آں کنیزک از مرض چوں موئے شد

The handmaiden became like hair due to illness

چشمِ شاہ از اشکِ خوں چوں جوئے شد

The eyes of the king became like canal due to tears of blood

چوں قضا آید طبیب آبلہ شود

The doctors become moron when death approaches

آن دوا در نفعِ خود گمرہ شود

The medicines become distracted in providing the benefit

از قضا سر کنگبیں صفر افزود

The lime juice aggravates, instead of ameliorating

روغنِ بادام خُشکی مے  نمود

The almonds increases the dryness

از ہلیلہ قبض شداطلاق رفت

Medicines improving constipation increases it and removes diarrhea

آب آتش را مدد شد ہمچو   نَفْت

Water starts helping fire like oil

سُستی دِل شد  فزون  خواب کم

Heart becomes lazy and sleep becomes less

سوزشِ چشم و دل پُر درد و غم

Eyes become irritable, heart is full of pain and sorrow

شربت و ادو یہاسبابِ اُو

Medicines and other cures and its impacts

از طبیباں بُر دیکسر آبِ رُو

Finished the image of doctors

            The doctors started the treatment of the girl but the illness kept on increasing and the girl became very weak and the king is weeping bloody tears. When death comes i.e. in adverse situations, the doctors become useless and in this case whatever medicines doctors are trying, they are reacting the other way i.e. juxtapose. Like lime juice , instead of ameliorating the condition, aggravates the same. The almonds, which usually reduces dryness, is infact increasing the dryness of the body. Medicine meant for reducing constipation are increasing the same. Thus everything works opposite way. Therefore the doctors are proved to be useless and their fame has been in tatters.
