Couplet 150

عقل در شرحش چو خردر گل بخُفت

While explaining it, intellect becomes a donkey stuck in swamp

شرحِ  عشق و عاشقی ہم عشق گفت

The explanation of ishq and its features be done by ishq only

           خردر گل خفتن is also an allusion that a donkey while walking, if trapped in the mud, it would be difficult for it to continue walking. Similarly the intelligence will be bereft of idea when it starts explaining ishq. In the second part, it is said that ishq makes its own explanation, as it is  an act of feeling and hence when one involves in such case, then only the reality of ishq be revealed to him. The meaning of عشق and عاشقی are almost same with some subtle difference, as عشق is the name of that feeling and it does not include whether one has endowed with it or not. Whereas عاشقی is the name of that reality when it is considered that it is really endowed to someone. Thus the former is the feeling of the reality and the latter is the enhancement of endowment of that feeling. The meaning of both are nearly same and repeated for emphasis. Or with عشق, idea is to convey its own characteristics and with عاشقی, the intention is to convey its effects, thus the resultant is that the actual feeling and the effects of ishq are available only when one reaches at that level.
