چوں سخن در وصفِ ایں
حالت رسید

ہم قلم بشکست و ہم کاغذ درید
The pen gets broken and paper gets torn
This
is the same context which is explained above, ایں
حالت is for ishq and قلم
شگاتن و کاغذ دریدن means the pen and the paper are unable to
explain the reality of ishq. If pen is broken and paper is torn, then obviously
writing would be stopped. The reason is clear that when it comes to write about
ishq, writing is stopped. The reason is the same that ishq is feeling.
