دست بکشاد و
کنار انش گرفت
With
open arms and embraced him
ہمچو عشق اندر
دل و جانش گرفت
Like ishq, he has taken it in heart and soul
The
king met the divine guest with open arms and took him in his embrace. In the
second stanza, it is compared that like one gives his ishq place in his heart
and soul, similarly, the king gave the guest a place in his heart i.e.
developed an affection and status for him.
